Personal Support Services

Our Personal Support Services module assists people with disabilities with assistance performing tasks as independently as possible.  Supports are provided in the homes of people with disabilities, in a family member's home, or in the community.  Services include support, supervision, and training in Personal care such as bathing, assistance with hygiene, and grooming; Meal preparation, meal planning, food shopping; Dressing and changing of clothes; Light housework; Laundry; Participating in community-based extracurricular activities such as bowling, going to the movies and shopping; Accessing community services such as the library, gym, and medical services.
